Biography
Bernadette Hsu, M.S. is a graduate student in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program at UCSF. She received her B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania where she worked in the laboratory of Dr. Kurt Hankenson characterizing the role of Wnt11 in murine bone development. She then completed her M.S. in Bioengineering in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Assoian where she studied the mechanobiology of smooth muscle cells in cardiovascular disease. Currently, Bernadette is a doctoral candidate in the Willenbring lab. Her research focuses on liver disease, regeneration, and cancer.
